Dr. Mohammed Saidam is a Consultant Neurologist at ACPN. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.B.CH.B) from Al-Basra University in Iraq in 2003 and completed his Doctorate in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology at Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2010. He underwent neurology residency and fellowship at King Abdullah University Hospital in Amman, Jordan. Dr. Saidam holds the Jordanian Board Certification in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN). He is a licensed consultant with DoH, Abu Dhabi.
With over two decades of clinical experience across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, Dr. Saidam led neurology departments at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital and NMC Specialty Hospital Abu Dhabi playing a key role in establishing neurophysiology labs and multidisciplinary clinics. He is highly experienced in managing epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and neuromuscular disorders, alongside conducting advanced EEG/EMG diagnostics. He is also a former Assistant Professor and Research Doctor at King Abdullah University’s Faculty of Medicine. His leadership includes mentoring junior physicians, aligning clinical practices with global standards, and advising pharmaceutical boards.
Dr. Saidam’s areas of expertise include clinical neurophysiology, movement disorders, and headache medicine. He runs specialized clinics for migraine and chronic headaches using IV infusions and Botox therapy. He is also a recognized expert in treating movement disorders like cervical dystonia and hemifacial spasm with botulinum toxin, operating a dedicated Botox clinic. Dr. Saidam combines evidence-based protocols with patient-centered care to optimize long-term neurological outcomes.

Dr. Alsaadi is a Chief Medical officer and the Chair of the Neurology Department at the American Center of Psychiatry & Neurology (ACPN). He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Neurology at Khalifa University. He was trained in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of California San Francisco and was a research fellow in Epilepsy there. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and by the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology and the American Board of Neurology in Clinical Epilepsy.
Before joining ACPN, Dr. Alsaadi was the Chief of the Neurology Department at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City for 11 years. He previously held a position as an Associate Professor of Neurology and the Director of the Adult Epilepsy Program and the Clinical Research Program at the University of California Davis. His research has focused on conducting drug study trials for new antiepileptic drugs for patients with epilepsy, quality of life in patients with epileptic and non-epileptic disorders, migraine headaches, multiple sclerosis, and neuropsychiatric comorbidities. Dr. Alsaadi has been honored with several prestigious awards for his work in the field of epilepsy. He has served on the Advisory Board of the Northern California Epilepsy Foundation and the membership committee of the American Epilepsy Society. He has previously served as the President of the Western Clinical Neurophysiology Society in the United States and as the Vice President of CEMA (Commission of the Eastern Mediterranean Affairs). He is currently the President of the Emirati League against epilepsy and the Chair of the ILAE Commission for epilepsy in the elderly. He serves as a member of the Guideline Development Group (GDG) for the WHO. He also serves on the Editorial Board for BMC Journal of Neurology and Journal of Neurosciences. He has authored and co-authored more than 80 papers and book chapters and has served as a peer-reviewer for more than 15 scientific journals.
Specialist Pediatric Neurologist, American Center for Psychiatry & Neurology (ACPN)

Dr. Chadi Al Alam is Specialist Pediatric Neurologist at ACPN. Completing his MD qualification in 2011, he went on to specialize in Pediatrics from the Lebanese University in 2015. He completed Pediatric and Adolescent Neurology fellowship at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), Lebanon in 2018. Dr. Al Alam also holds a University Diploma in Principles of Medical Research, Lebanese University held in collaboration with the Foundation-Medical Research Institutes of Switzerland in 2015.
Dr. Al Alam’s experience marks more than three years as a Consultant in Pediatrics and Adolescent Neurology at many university hospitals and NGOs in Lebanon. Before moving to the UAE, Dr. Al Alam also worked in genetic research and rare diseases in collaboration with University College London, UK, and Haykel Hospital, Lebanon, 2021, and in sickle cell research and drug trials, Nini Hospital, Lebanon, 2021.
With deep experience in medical academics and practice in neurological disorders and diseases in children and adolescents, Dr. Al Alam presents at medical conferences with scientific papers published in international journals.
Dr. Al Alam treats children and adolescents presenting with headaches, seizures, epilepsy, sleep disorders and neuromuscular diseases. He also works with children with autism spectrum disorders, tic disorders, attention deficit and hyperactive disorders, and has a special interest in rare genetic diseases.
Consultant Neurologist, American Center for Psychiatry & Neurology (ACPN)

Dr. Khaled Hamoulila comes to ACPN from Ain Al Khaleej Hospital where he worked as Consultant Neurologist. He obtained his specialization degree in Neurology at the Claude Bernard University in Lyon, France, in 1990 and remains a licensed practitioner in neurology with the French National Board, as well as the Syrian Medical Association. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Damascus, Syria, in the year 1980.
Dr. Hamoulila has worked in the UAE at the Ain Al Khaleej Hospital, Al Ain for 4 years. Prior to his move to Al Ain, Dr. Hamoulila was Head of Neurology Department in Ibn Al Nafees Hospital in Damascus, Syria for 16 years. Dr. Hamoulila has held different positions including Board Member of the Cerebral Palsy Association, and Chief of Syrian Multiple Sclerosis Committee. Dr. Hamoulila has an extensive experience of 30 years as consultant in the field of neurology working across countries like France, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and the UAE.
Dr. Hamoulila is adept at diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis and has vast experience in the diagnosis and treatment of other neurological diseases.
Specialist Pediatric Neurologist, American Center for Psychiatry & Neurology (ACPN)

Dr. Ola Safi joins ACPN from Lebanon as a Specialist Pediatric Neurologist. Dr. Safi earned her medical degree from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 2013, going on to complete her residency in general pediatrics in Hotel Dieu de France Hospital in 2017. Subsequently, she completed her fellowship in pediatric neurology in Lyon, France in 2018. Dr. Safi also got her diploma in clinical neurophysiology from the University of Claude Bernard of Lyon in 2018.
Dr. Safi started her career as a Consultant in Pediatric Neurology in hospitals in Lebanon, primarily at Bellevue Medical Center in 2019, the Ain Wazein Medical Village, and the Lebanese Welfare Association for the Handicapped until she moved to the UAE in 2021.
She was also a lecturer in the department of speech therapy in Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
Dr. Safi is skilled in managing various conditions in pediatric neurology including pediatric epilepsies, neuromuscular diseases, perinatally acquired brain disorders, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and specific learning disorder. Dr. Safi is skilled in interpreting pediatric electroencephalogram.

Dr. Tamer Rizk is a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist at ACPN. He holds qualifications from the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology with a focus on Pediatric EEG in 2023 and earned his specialist registration (CESR) in Pediatric Neurology in the UK in 2016. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH, UK) since 2012 and completed his medical degree at Alexandria University, Egypt in 1996. Dr. Rizk is a registered pediatric neurologist in USA, UK, Canada, KSA, Egypt, as well as the DoH, Abu Dhabi.
Bringing two decades of expertise in pediatric neurology, Dr. Rizk’s international career spans a comprehensive range of roles. His recent roles included academic and clinical responsibilities including teaching positions as Assistant Professor of Pediatric Neurology at Memorial University, and Dalhousie University in Canada for seven years before going on to join ACPN in 2024. His clinical roles have seen him work as a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist managing various neurological disorders in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency care in the UK and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Rizk is a major contributor to medical research and has more than 50 publications in pediatric neurology literature, authoring multiple books on epilepsy, dystonia, and spasticity.
Dr. Rizk’s expertise is in treating a wide range of pediatric neurological disorders, including epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, neonatal neurological disorders, structural cerebral malformations, genetic disorders, dysmorphic syndromes, neuro-metabolic disorders, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, neuro-psychiatric & neuro-behavioral disorders (ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, ODD), headache, movement disorders and autoimmune neurological disorders.
