Dr. Wadoo is the chair of the Middle East Division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He moved to Qatar in 2017 from NHS in England. He is a clinical professor at the College of Medicine – Qatar University. In his role as the director of the psychiatry fellowship program, he led the establishment of 8 sub-specialty psychiatry fellowship programs in Qatar, the highest in the Middle East region. He has also led and contributed to the establishment of a psychiatry clerkship program in CMED-QU. Dr. Wadoo is the clinical director of neuromodulation services. He has played a key role in establishing community-based care. He led the national award-winning program of training primary care physicians. He has been instrumental in the standardization of clinical practice through his leadership of the clinical guidelines and audit group and has been involved in producing national guidelines for mental disorders in the state of Qatar.

Dr. Al-Salihy completed his post graduate training in Old age psychiatry in the United Kingdom and has been a consultant in the field since 2014. He held many senior positions in Hamad medical corporation and was the director of psychiatry old age fellowship program and Psychiatry residency program for many years. Currently he is the clinical director of older adult’s psychiatry service in HMC and leading the development and expansion of psychiatry services in Qatar for older adults. He was involved in writing Qatar National dementia guidelines, HMC dementia guidelines and Qatar national dementia plan in collaboration with other stakeholders. He is interested in teaching and education and presented in many local international conferences.
