Dr. Aysha Ibrahim Al Dhaheri is a non-practicing physician and a public health expert. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the United Arab Emirates University, a Master’s degree in Public Health, the international Certificate in Public Health (CPH), and is a Member through Distinction of the Faculty of Public Health of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.

Since 2015, she has been serving as the Head of the Health Promotion Section at the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center (ADPHC), where she leads specialized teams in designing and implementing local and national programs in health education, lifestyle promotion, disease prevention awareness, and community well-being enhancement.

Dr. Al Dhaheri has over 21 years of experience in the public health and preventive medicine sector. Her career spans policy development in public health, managing major health crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and leading high-profile international conferences. Among her most notable achievements are successfully leading the hosting of the International Society for Physical Activity and Health Congress (ISPAH 2022) and the International Union for Health Promotion and Education World Conference (IUHPE 2025), both for the first time in the region in Abu Dhabi. Her efforts have been recognized by the World Health Organization and other international entities. Known as a visionary leader in public health, Dr. Al Dhaheri has launched and championed major community programs such as the Public Health Ambassadors initiative, school health promotion programs, and physical activity initiatives, in addition to forging strategic partnerships with national entities such as ADNOC, the Department of Community Development, and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. She also played a pivotal role in managing volunteer and awareness campaigns during the COVID-19 pandemic, establishing a pioneering model for community health promotion. She has received multiple awards and recognitions for her leadership and impact in public health, including excellence awards from the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center. She was also honored with the Outstanding Contribution Award for her role in academic teaching at the UAE University’s College of Medicine and Health Sciences. In addition, she has been recognized as a high-performing employee through several evaluations, and has been featured in the Encyclopedia of Emirati Women by the General Women’s Union.

Her core skills include business continuity during crises, creative leadership, innovation, strategic planning, foresight, team building and collaboration, problem-solving, decision-making, behavioral insight, emotional intelligence, training of trainers, empowerment, motivation, and excellent public speaking.
