Dr. Alamiri completed her general psychiatry and subspecialty training in child
and adolescent psychiatry at Harvard Medical School affiliated hospitals and
MGH/McLean child and Adolescent psychiatry Residency Program. She is Diplomate of
the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in both General Psychiatry and Child &
Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Alamiri also successfully accomplished the Fellowship in
Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Boston Psychoanalytic Society & Institute. She
holds memberships at several professional societies including the American Psychiatric
Association and the American Academy for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She
successfully established and designed Almanara in 2012, the only dedicated center for
child and adolescent mental health in Kuwait. Almanara offers comprehensive
management plans for all children, adolescents and their families with different
psychiatric conditions. Dr. Alamiri is also an epidemiologist who obtained a Doctor of
Science degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in psychiatric
epidemiology. Her research interest is on the overlap between neurodevelopment and
psychiatric disorders. She has more than 100 publications in peer reviewed journals and
is a sought-after speaker at regional scientific conferences and public events.
In addition to her current role as chairperson of Almanara, Dr Alamiri founded
Tawasol, a private practice, a mental well-being oasis for all.

Dr. Zamel is a Pediatric Neurologist specializing in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. He serves as Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology and Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar and is a Senior Neurology Consultant at Sidra Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship in the U.S. and holds dual American Board certifications in child neurology and clinical neurophysiology. Dr. Zamel previously led the Child Neurology division at Sidra and established a pediatric epilepsy unit in the UAE. He has numerous publications and co-authored a textbook on intraoperative neurophysiology.

Raidah Saleem AlBaradie trained in Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy in Harvard Medical School, Boston Children Hospital. She obtained American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualification in child neurology in 2006 & American Board in Epilepsy in 2016. Dr. Al-Baradie obtained Executive Master dgree in Health Administration in 2014. She is currently elected chair for Eastern Mediterranean Region. In the past she served as The Director of Neuroscience Center & Comprehensive Epilepsy Program & Chairman of Pediatric Neurology KFSH-D. Also she was the President of Saudi Epilepsy Society. Dr. Samraa M. Suliman is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult mental health. She began her medical career with a residency in pediatrics, which laid a strong foundation for her work with children and families. She went on to complete her residency in adult psychiatry at Tufts University, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at New York University (NYU) in New York City.
Dr. Suliman also completed a one-year postdoctoral program in cultural psychiatry, further deepening her understanding of how cultural identity and context influence mental health.
She is American Board Certified in both Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Currently, Dr. Suliman serves as a faculty member at the College of Medicine and is the Program Director of the Psychiatry Training Program at her university, where she is actively involved in clinical work, education, and mentorship. Her professional interests include cross-cultural psychiatry, developmental disorders, and integrative approaches to mental health care.

Tarek Omar is Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt. He had his pre-doctorate training at the Department of Pediatric Neurosciences of Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK (1994 – 1995). He was the Head of the Pediatric Neurology Unit of the Department of Pediatrics (August 2016 – 2023). He was appointed the position of Head of Alexandria University Hospitals’ Sector (2009 –2011) and Head of Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Unit – Alexandria University Hospitals (2008 – 2009). He is the founder and board chair of Egyptian Pediatric Neurology Fellowship Program since 2022. He is the Founder and Program Coordinator of Professional Diploma Program of Pediatric Neuro-disability, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt since 2011. He is a visiting professor for undergraduate pediatric neurology curriculum for physical therapy at Pharos University in Alexandria from 2013 till now. His research interests are epilepsy, neuro-developmental disorders including autism, neurological rehabilitation and cerebral palsy management.
